XL Kitchen and Bath is based from a design studio located in Deep Cove, North Vancouver.

Barry and Laura have taken a unique thirty year old home and redesigned and renovated it to include different display ideas to illustrate and stimulate creativity and discussion. It also provides you the opportunity to see not only design concept but also practical implementation and use thereof.

We do not work from a traditional retail showroom for three reasons:

  1. We supervise our jobs on a daily basis.
  2. Most of our business is from referrals.
  3. We prefer not to charge you extra for the overhead of a showroom.
We always work by appointment. Our initial consultation will be with you in your home in order that we can get a perspective of the project, your living style, and other design considerations.

Directions to our studio are:
  1. Take Mount Seymour Parkway eastbound.
  2. As the road descends a steep hill into Deep Cove you can see the water and at the traffic lights turn left on Deep Cove Road.
  3. Past the Raven Pub on your right and the first street is Strathcona Road where you turn right.
  4. Keep going straight down Strathcona Road for about ½ mile, when you see the water the road turns sharp left, then sharp right by the park and up a hill through an S bend (ignore the Rd to the left) and turn right at the next road - Lookout Point.
  5. Drive up and park in the Cul-de-sac. The long steep driveway serves three houses; walk down to #1586, it is the lowest one. Please do not park on or try to drive down the driveway.
